A satire on class struggle, rich hierarchy, moral...
The first part of the film introduces us Carl (Harris Dickinson) and Yaya (Charlbi Dean) and this prologue already shows us what kind of people are going to be represented on the film: self centered rich people that relates to others with only interests. And this is important, because when few of them survives on the island, their money is not useful and one of the crew members of the cruise, Abigail (Dolly de Leon) becomes the leader, and more than that, she uses the same logic of interests to obtain advantage over the rest of them, since she's the only one capable of mantaing them alive. I think this movie is a must see and I probably should watch again to pay attention to all the minimum details.

A black comedy with no laughs😬
Starts so slowly, was tempted to turn it off, but the rating of 7.5 made me carry on watching in the hope of vast improvement, boy was I wrong😬 You don't buy into any of the characters, Woody Harsleton only has a brief cameo appearance aka Bruce Willis of late, pension payoff.

The acting wasn't necessarily bad, just very indulgent indie film, that goes nowhere.

To save you wasting 2 1/2 hr's of your life here goes what happens.

Rich toffs who treat people like skivvies are on a ship.

Big storm, half the crew get sea sick, ott scenes of exorcist style vomit flowing everywhere, toilets overflowing. Ship sinks, some of the crew make it on a life boat to an island.

Second half of film, lord of the flies, only one person can light a fire or fire age for food, the toilet cleaner, she takes charge as she can light a fire and catch fish, they all bend to her demands of power ( role reversal of first half of film ), the useless make model becomes her sex slave in exchange for food.

After weeks stranded , no search party arrives, they all had mobiles etc, didn't the luxury ship have a radar?. Turns out they're is a luxury Boutique hotel on the island, as they didn't search the island at all during their several week stay🤷‍♂️ Then the toilet cleaner sensing she's going to lose power is about to kill one of her lackies who says you can come and work for me as a maid. Film abruptly ends, utter rubbish with no ending, the first half of the film is bad, the second half is a feeble rehash of other films.
