    The best Batman
For me simply the best batman in terms of story, actors, music and action. Long movie which never gets bored and the plot is amazing. The movie get even extra treasure because of the sudden death of the main role in real life, while he was playing the sick joker in the movie the best ever seen. Maybe he was too much caught up in the role, which lead to serious consequences in private life. It is one of the examples about an actor which goes up too much in the role, with fatal consequences. But even without this dramatic event, the movie was a number one. The opening scene had humor, action and simply great one liners and great acting never seen before.

    The Dark Knight - 9.6/10
    1. Overall Plot - 10/10 Joker is so good in this movie. His plans are very evil. I love that it surrounds Harvey Dent. Breaking down the best of the best is a crazy message to send. I also love how deep this movie is.

There is a lot of plot holes that you notice, but I don't really care. They are little things that don't take away from the movie at all.

    2. Entertainment / Engagement - 10/10 This movie is so entertaining. It is intense, thrilling, and even psychological. At no point does it feel boring. The action and plot just keep developing constantly.

You get very engaged in this movie. The music helps a lot with keeping you at the edge of your seat.

    3. Emotion / Investment in Story - 8/10 There is lots of emotion in this. Just not in a way that makes it feel deep to us. The best is everything that Joker does to Dent. You see how his emotion changes him.

You definitely do get very invested in this movie. Especially in watching how Joker is carrying out his plan.

    4. Theme and Depth of Story - 10/10 There is so many amazing themes in this, it's hard to narrow it down. I love the idea that Batman is a symbol. He is more than just a hero.

This movie is so deep. There is so much to unpack. The dialog alone is amazing. Multiple of my favorite quotes of all time come from this movie. The message behind this movie is awesome. Joker showing that the best can become the worst is wild. And Batman having to prove him wrong is a crazy story.

    5. Characters - 8/10 Joker is amazing in this. He is a darker toned Joker. Who is more violent and scary. But I love that. It is the best live action Joker we've seen in a movie. Harvey Dent is amazing in this. His character is perfect. Going from the best man in the city, to being broken down until he becomes Two-Face is crazy.

Alfred is amazing yet again. Bruce Wayne is better in this, but still not perfect. I like how Batman does a little bit of detective work, but not really. Dark Knight trilogy Batman is unique, and not really a detective at all. And I don't like that. He feel to much like your average super hero rather than the world's greatest detective, Batman. I do absolutely love how they make Batman a symbol. He is more than just a hero.

Rachel is so annoying in this. And the recast doesn't help at all. She is probably the worst part of this movie. I also still love Commissioner Gordon. He is perfect in this.

    6. Acting / Writing - 9/10 I want this to be a ten so bad. But Christian Bale just doesn't do it for me. He just feels so cheesy. His movies are good, but his Batman and Bruce Wayne suck. Maggie Gyllenhaal is also so freakin annoying. She just absolutely sucks as Rachel. A lot of the time you wish that she would just shut up.

Heath Ledger man. I don't even know how to express how good he is in this. He is the reason this movie is so good. His Joker is so believable, that it literally drove him mad. Heath Ledger is a method actor, and playing Joker made him go crazy and kill himself. It is a sad story. But that is how good of an actor he is. I have never seen a performance like his in this movie. The dedication he shows, like wanting to actually get punched by Batman so he can live the character is amazing.

Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent is also perfect. He does a great job. All of the other actors, such as Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, and Morgan Freeman all did awesome in their roles.

7a. Cinematography / Sets - 8/10 Nothing to special for the cinematography. There was some cool shots that I really liked.

The settings were cool too. I liked how we went out of Gotham for just a bit with going to Japan.

7b. Choreography - 4/10 This is where this movie, and the Dark Knight Trilogy struggles as a whole. The fights are just not that great. The way it's filmed, you don't see much. And there is some parts where it looks like punches don't even land.

Anything with Joker is literally perfect. Because of the actors. Christian Bale was really punching Heath Ledger. So that is phenomenal.

    8. Score / Sound - 10/10 The music in this so good. Hans Zimmer cooked for this. The music makes it feel so intense and keeps you in suspense. This is one of the best movie scores of all time.

    9. Editing / Pace - 10/10 Editing was great.

Pace was great. Don't see it any other way.

    10. VFX/Practical Effects - 10/10 All of it looked real. There was little CGI used in this. It is almost all practical. And it looks great.

    Average Score: 8.8/10

My Overall Rating and Final Thoughts: 9.5/10 This movie is so good. Joker steals the movie. Christian Bale Batman isn't very good at all, but Heath Ledger Joker is phenomenal. This is honestly a better Joker movie than a Batman movie. I love Two-Face in it too.
