The Perfect and most Hard-Hitting Biopic Ever.
The story of Sher Singh aka Sardar Udham Singh is a well-known Story among us but this movie presents it in the most impactful way possible. The entire journey of Udham Singh, from a clothing mill worker to a rebel, and ultimately one of the greatest freedom fighters in history, this movie presents it with pinpoint accuracy, no sugarcoating, no catchy songs, no glamorous models, just true, hard facts of history.

This biopic doesn't follow the norms of a standard biopic. It uses a non-linear way of storytelling, showing us the story of Udham Singh through flashbacks. At first, the movie's pace feels a bit slow but it's so impactful and hard-hitting that it stays with you for a long time. That slow pace didn't bother me much in the start but, the last hour of the movie was extremely to watch. It was so intense and brutal that, honestly speaking, the night I watched it, I was unable to sleep that night. Having such a gory sight becomes a nightmare and at that moment, we start to understand what made Udham Singh come all across the globe to reach England and kill O'Dwyer. This movie makes us understand what Udham Singh and other freedom fighters went through. I think I won't be able to forget some of the scenes of the last hour of movie, forever.

The movie is just too good, probably the best movie of the decade so far. Its direction is just perfect, cinematography is such that it's one of the most stunning movies I've seen in a couple of years. Credit goes to Shoojit Sircar who just delivered the best movie of his career so far. He's such an outstanding director and here, he shines the brightest. Kudos to the cinematography team and production design team who made each scene very engaging and visually appealing. Everything was just perfect.

I would like to mention the acting of Vicky Kaushal. He just became Udham Singh himself. His physical transformation, portraying the teen Sher Singh in the second half of the movie and a grown up Udham Singh in the first half was mind-blowing. His Punjabi accent was also extremely good and his acting in every scene is just mind-blowing. Probably one of the best acting performances of the century so far.

In the end, I can just sum up by saying that it's the best biopic in Indian Cinema and one of the most impactful movies ever. This masterpiece wasn't even nominated for the Oscars which shows us the double standards of the Academy Awards. We can say that here, the Oscars don't deserve this movie. If Hollywood has Schindler's List, Indian Cinema has Sardar Udham.

    Pure cinema, great colours
I read review of times of indias some random ideot reporter saying it don't have diologbazi and gave less rating we are lost in commerical cinema so much we forgot that what is cinema and this film is as pure as they come without commerical formate and my only addition would be some more interesting charcters thanks for this beautiful cinema , thax for this attempt and not including unnecessary commerical elements.

Vicky kushal has done acting played the part well Lighting on point Idk how much it cost making it hope it makes money so many producers try this moives Inside the world in starting 10 secs Beautifully shown The seriousness of the story is retained And sets are wonderful Best compliment is that it don't have that formate of patriotic moives of unnecessary things it had everything optimal and realistic just needed some charcters from British also to have some light as a negative character.
