    Loved it.
I don't understand how in any universe this would get anything but at minimum a very good review. I cried at at least three times watching this movie! And who knew this artist had visions of psychedelic artwork 60 years before anybody else did and brought cats into the home! WHO knew?!

The acting is amazing. The artwork is beautiful. The storyline is well told. I would've enjoyed a little more time with him and his lovely wife. But I guess that's sort why his life was so tragic and beautiful. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie the second you get a chance if you're even a little interested. You'll love it.

    The lighting!
Nice film, well written, good actors, great acting by Benedict Cumberbatch.

It was also sad, and moving.

The scene between Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch where she tells him that the world is beautiful, was really well played.

However, the lighting was the absolute highlight for me. Pun intended.

I love how bright the colours where, and the use of lens flares really added something. The most beautiful thing was how in some scenes the light shimmered as though the scene was watched through a prism.

The costumes and sets were also beautiful, adding to the lovely aesthetic.

And sometimes the number of characters was a bit confusing.
