    It could have been better
The Trial of the Chicago 7 is a historic court room but the movie fails to delivers what it's is designed to do. The reason? The uneven screenplay with weak execution of the story.

The story was simply written with many unnecessary scenes which made the movie less effective and less tense. The courtroom drama felt less tense and more of comic set-up. The screenplay was also uneven with lack of emotions and depth. The direction was decent for this type of script and the performances were the only thing that saved this sinking ship.

Overall, it was an average court room drama which could have been better.

    The Terrorist 7
Pedantic, bloviating, leftyst gasbag Aron Sorkin didn't get enough off his chest after several years of the nauseating Left Wing, er, West Wing. So he turns his attention to a group of smelly, America-hating hippies who conspired to riot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

Of course, in Sorkin's twisted view of the world, they weren't rioters or terrorists, they were class warriors, sticking it to The Man,.

Sorta like how MSDNC and CNNLOL portrayed the Bee Ell Emm looting and destruction. "Mostly peaceful" protestors just wanting their voices to be heard.

Every scene in this movie basically made me want to barf.

Pete Townshend had it right. When the deplorable Abbie Hoffman walked on stage to whine during The Who's set at Woodstock, Townshend kicked him in the nutz and pushed him off stage.

And that, my friends, is how you deal with spoiled, rotten, America-hating trouble-makers.
