    DIFFERENT entertaining VISIONARY
Honestly, the idea behind this tv series is genius! I actually watch the spin off US reality beforehand... I thought it was an American idea but no it is coming from Asia and they do have a totally different approach from us Westerners. Fresh, visionary, brutal, totally different! It is worth watching only for that but there is much more. Do not be put off by the subtitles! In a nutshell story goes: would you accept to be in a deadly game if the prize is the solution to all your (very heavy) debts? You are on the brink of suicide anyway so what do you have to loose? How much your life counts? And the lives of other ones? Then it gets more complicated... you need to strategise, make alliances but even these won't be enough, you will fight for the prize and your life at the same time. Brutal. Amazing! Haven't seen something so singular on telly for a while, absolutely gripping.

Terrible excuse for a series from a film
If you've seen the orinal movie then you will be very dissapointed seeing this sorry excuse of a series makeover.

At first you're seeing the same challenge as the movie did. However, its instantly clear that contestants which are "eliminated" aren't eleminated in any way like in the original movie.

Was the series made for children or what?

I don't want to spoil too much about this. The only part where it came anyway near the original was the bridge challenge.

So I kept looking a bit to see if it would get better, but in the contrary it got worse.

There is very way too much conversation in this movie, not only between contestants themselves but also when they are talking in a seperate room about who they are and what they were doing in their lives.

Taking out all the unnecessary talk would have make the series half shorter probably. Sometimes it was so somniferous that I fell a sleep and often I had to use the fast forward option.

Conclusion: Ultimately boring and no where near te excitement and tension of the movie. You better skip this.
