Without the music a better film
Frankly, this film has nice actors. This film has nice camera, nice story and nice cut also. Everything is nice, not to say fine or good. It would be a 7 on my rating. I like the landscape, the atmosphere.

But ... what kills that film? Music, or the use of music to be precisely. The scene a woman drives a car towards the action scene at the beginning is underlined with extreme noisy music, describing a total fatal apocalypse, which is not present. The music seem to belong to another movie, which is not this movie by the way, because i can not find any overlap between what I see and what I hear. May be that is the intention, because it is some kind of art I do not know. But it is disturbing enough, to me at least, to rate this film to 4.

In my view, based on that film, users should have the opportunity to rate the music of any film seperately. In this case, film is 7, music is 1.

    So Much Potential...Until Halfway Through
Firstly, Hale and Gomez were amazing. I've added Gomez to my favorites based on the campfire scene. Hale, as usual, is excellent as well.

This movie was really well-written and executed until about halfway through. The latter half felt rushed and forced - too many (really) predictable things happening in such a short span of time.

The exchange between Alex and Jose in the ravine was poorly delivered. It sounded like...a rote parody almost in their tone and rhythm of talking to one another.

I really liked the messaging throughout. I just wish it could've finished as well as it started.

    Worth a watch though!
