You will forget you watched it
It is sad that I can remember more scenes, more dialogue from a movie 51 year ago(Exorcist) than I will from a movie I saw less yesterday....but folks....this is where we are at.

Nothing is bad...it is just nothing is good at all. It starts out with an intriuing setup and then decided to use the rest of its budget on special effects instead of storyline, dialogue, editing and anything else that would make for a compelling story. Too many random characters are thrown in with very little or non-existant backstory that you do not care what happens. When a key person dies...you feel nothing because you barely know who or what they were.

    Take a pass.

    Don't compare to the original
As horror exorcism films go, this was pretty good. Dont compare to the original- it's not the same film! Granted there are ties to the original but this is a different story line with different characters, themes, settings and conclusions.

Make-up, visual and sound effects were really good and dare I say way better than the original!!

Pacing could have been better and some loose ends could have been tied up but overall there was some heartwarming themes and I enjoyed the incorporation of different cultures- not just the usual Catholic exorcism spiel!

Great to watch if you want an enthrallling, no-nonsence horror film that wont drag on too long.
