Brainless bloody gore.
With a thin story and buckets of blood and gote this movie doesn't get my attention at all.
To many scenes of the familymembers "staring in shock" on their possessed mother or sister while the monster acts scary and creepy. The the ghoul it lashes out and everybody screams and panics.
This is not just one scene, not two scenes, but scene after scene with the same buildup and acting, when the normal reaction would be to run as hell.
The film gets to be a predictable and unexciting bloodfeast of a movie, a lowblow in the Evil Dead series with none of the black humor from earlier films.

A good "demonic" movie
My parents recommended this movie and at first I didn't want to watch it because the majority of this type of movies are... bad. But my parents insisted. And said that I had to watch it with no light on <(0.0)>
My god, this is a really good movie. A lot of things you don't expect, and the makeup, the soundtrack, the views... are so good. So, so much better than the actual movies they make about these type of stories.
If you like horror movies, I think you are going to like that one. Is very scary. Not to the point of not sleeping at night (thanks), but very scary. So, again, if you like horror movies, this is the one.
