    medium rare
First of all, this is definitely a comedy, seen so many reviews say it's not, when it most certainly is. And quite a good one too. It's tongue in cheek, over the top, dark comedy with horror elements.

The intro starts after half an hour, a warning that the actual movie is about to start after the half hour rom-com build up. From there on it's all about one thing, but the balance between horror / comedy / gross out stuff is well mixed up.

I think the ending was good and rewarding enough, i think maybe it was a bit too straight forward and played out too safely and generically and would have been good to have had a twist or something extra.

But it is what it is, and it's not ad at all.

    Dark comedy done right
This may well be one of the best performances from Sebastian Stan that he's ever had. From the premise, execution, and commitment to the bit, this movie succeeds where many other horror comedy films fail. Some light world building was done to imply a larger organization and other people working for said organization like Steve and I wish we got more of that in the film. However I think what we ended up with was more than serviceable and leaves room for a potential sequel exploring the company behind the curtain which is something I'd like to see. Daisy Edgar Jones also gives a great performance as the girl next door tired of dating who transforms into a badass by the end of the film and will hopefully return if there is a sequel.
