    Gorgeous Magnum Opus
Quite a spendid masterpiece, and it clearly demonstrate how much effect the team has made. It is not easy to see China producing such a well-crafted and imaginative Science Fiction movie without many precedents under the circumstance of imperfect film industry.

For a long time having not seen a Sci-Fi film without reducing to flashy CGI combinating lame plot to achieve cheap pleasure, and it has delved into deep existantial problem: in a much AI-infiltrated era, what is the signification of HUMAN if the civilization has its technology reaching the peak.

Very moved by collective scarifice. But drop one star for its slightly optimistic attitude to global unification in face of catastrophe of all. Look at what we have done in COVID-19 Pandemic.

A rare act of human solidarity
It's rare to see the world so united in a movie. The whole film is full of different languages, and everyone speaks their own mother tongue. In order to achieve the ultimate goal, the good and brave people of all countries are united. Although there are villains in the movie, the villains are a group of dissidents, not a country. Although in the movie, half of the world's people were perished in this cataclysm, but what I saw was the brightest future of mankind. It's not like the movie '2012', where people fight and the richest and most powerful people survive. The whole movie is not perfect, but it is already the top level of SF movies, first-class story, first-class visual effects, first-class casts, I can't understand why anyone would give this outstanding work one star.
