Martin Harris
The thing that I was watching for was the depiction of Martin Harris. A lot of the time, movies and people show him as nothing more than the person who lost the 116 pages. This showed him well as someone who backed the book of Mormon from the beginning. He also helped a lot, helping Smith, and selling much of his farm for him. He made a good intentioned, but still very bad mistake. He was very ashamed of himself. Eventually after much repenting, he was forgiven. Even more than forgiven- he was chosen to be one of the three witness. I believed that I showed his character arc and many details of his life very well, more than "Martin Harris-the guy who stopped Joseph Smith from translating" The rest of the movie was very good too. - andrewngjones-61839 - 17 October 2021
2/10 only because technically is not a badly made film.apart from that it revisionist rubbish
The title says it all. Well made. Just unfortunate that its about j.smith and his "witnesses " and the prop plates that are in this film have probably been seen by more people than the supposedly. Real ones.
