    Totally relatable
I never knew of, or watched anything related to Anthony Bourdain until I watched Roadrunner.

For a film, tv and documentary lover, I am so glad I found this movie.

Personally I have bipolar, addiction issues and severe tinnitus and as I watched Anthony and his friends and lovers on screen, it didn't matter to me his career, travels or television success.

All I could see was him, I could feel him, not the pain, addiction, insecurities or loneliness, but I could feel Simone like me and understood what others couldn't. I totally related as a father, as a drifter, bouncing from one passion to another, people seeing my positive aura and vibe, but finally finding pure love in fatherhood (3 kids 3 mothers), whilst managing my own madness and conflicts.

Never have I seen a truer reflection, I was so close to taking my life, no one could understand the clarity you feel when you are at that point, unless you have been there or completed the task, but I saw it here and Anthony should not be scorned or seen as a failure, he clearly had death on his thoughts for many years and lived a fulfilling life and saw the world on his terms.

A beautiful life depicted very well in this documentary, he touched so many lives and for that they should be blessed.

He never intended to hurt anyone in his final act, he just succumbed to what was always there and when it comes it's euphoric and I truly believe that's how he left us.

    Brilliant
As may people are, I'm a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain. This documentary, I fell like, was true to who he was. It didn't sugar coat anything, goodness knows that he didn't. Depression is a dark, lonely, and at times a very scary place to be. He was honest, logical, cynical, he was great at what he did, but most of all he took us on a journey, a journey that very few will ever actually experience.
