A Solid Finale for Indiana Jones
After seeing this movie today, I was shocked to read all the mixed reviews. The filmmakers seem to be trying very hard to stick to the Indiana Jones themes that made the original series so successful, but as a result, viewers are claiming it is boring. The film is also seemingly trying to make it interesting with a conflicted female character, but then the fans are saying the character is annoying. Maybe you can't please some of the fans of the original Indiana Jones trilogy. But if you are looking for a movie that is fun escapism (actually much like the original three Indiana Jones films), this is the place to go. Harrison Ford is convincing as an aging Indiana Jones. He still does some action scenes but not unrealistic ones for his age. Also he still seems like the same character we know from the other Indiana Jones movies.

Unbelievable, and not in a good way!
This movie was sadly a disappointment to me. I know all the Indiana Jones movies deal with a bit of supernatural stuff, but this was REALLY a stretch. The main German Villan that got hit in the head and flew off the train...and LIVED?! Come on. Didn't leave a mark or anything. PLUS! He should have looked a LOT older, like crunchy...I mean Indy! Also...how do these bad guys ALWAYS know where Indy is anyway? They are always RIGHT behind him! EVERY movie! It gets old. It's really just the same stuff every movie. I saw on the back of the movie that this was the final installment. Thank Goodness. If they did make another one, it would be called Indiana Jones and the empty theater. Sorry guys. I really wanted to like this movie, but in reality, I was really...REALLY ready for it to be over with. Peace.
