    Filling the hole
Actually it should be void instead of hole, but I could not get away with "no pun intended" with the one I did not use. And talking of something not used ... in this case it is more a case of recognized. This may be a slow burner, but the movie is really hitting its marks.

This is about toxic masculinity, as much as it is about quite a few people not feeling seen. If you are overlooked, if you unhappy ... if something is missing ... to make you whole (not hole) .... you may find yourself in a group of people with like minded people.

And the movie describes the descent into the whole madness really well. Jesse Eisenberg really dives into the role - you can feel every part of his (trained) body ... being and having major issues. His girlfriend has quite the unthankful role ... and yet even she shines with the little time she is given. You also have A. Brody ... who is amazing as always ... so charismatic ... he knows what to say and how to say it. I would get into his group ... he makes you feel better ... but is is sustainable? Exactly ...

The director owes me 2h of his life
I dont know why and how I saw posters for the movie and decided to watch it without checking its score on IMDB first. 4.8 is too generous. John Trengove owes me 2h of his life that he is welcome to serve anytime he wants - whether it be cleaning my house or walking my dog, I am mad i wasted 2h of my life to watch something that is not even a movie because nothing happens. When something does happen, it's so not logical or make even the slightest sense. Next time you want to make a movie just facepalm yourself John Trengove and spare us from doing it ourselves. If you think about watching this movie just do yourself a favor and watch Joker a second time, it will be a much better experience.
