    Just fits well
A low budget and a well crafted piece of TV theatre- its nearly flawless. It takes liberties with the live camera takes when things get truly weird but that's all part of the fun. It doesn't demand to be taken too seriously but it is genuinely freaky and scary as hell so it fulfils on all fronts.

Can't say I've enjoyed any film much more than this and for a horror film it explores its content intelligently and effortlessly truly like you are in the audience of a live TV show gone wrong.

On a side note when I left the cinema It was about midnight and was alone and the lobby song cut out to loud static. I walked around looking for anyone but the entire complex was empty and the static like the end of a finished record stayed on the speakers until I was too weirded out by the timing I had to leave the cinema. (True story) if you see the film I hope You can relate to that being quite strange.

Everything to Enjoy in the film nothing to lose.

"LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL" REVIEW
Directed and written by Cameron and Colin Cairnes. A runtime of one hour and thirty-three minutes. Streaming on AMC+ with an R rating.

"Jack Delroy," played by David Dastmalchian, is an unusual man. When "Jack" was younger, he messed with demonic cults and seemed to make a pact with the devil. As time has passed and he has gotten older, "Jack" seems to have left that part of him in the past.

"Jack" became a night show host, with "Gus McConnell," played by Rhys Auteri, as his running mate. Things seemed to be amazing. He was killing the ratings and riding a high. As time went on, the ratings started to plummet. If you couldn't imagine it getting worse, it did when "Jack" lost his wife, "Madeleine Piper," played by Georgina Haig, to cancer.

After taking a brief break and being on the cusp of getting his show canceled, "Jack" is trying to make his return show one for the ages. He had a medium in "Christou," played by Fayssal Bazzi, to do live reading for the audience. Which was a big deal in 1977.

"Jack" also invited "Carmichael Haig," played by Ian Bliss, who was a skeptic of anything supernatural. To round out his list, "Jack" invited "June Ross-Mitchell," played by Laura Gordon, and "Lilly," played by Ingrid Torelli. "Lilly" was possessed, and "June" was helping to keep the demon at bay.

This has all the ingredients to make one hell of a recipe. Pun intended. Watch how this night becomes one for the ages and for all the wrong reasons.

"Late Night With the Devil" was unique and clever. The Cairnes brothers did a great job with this film. The way it was shot and the way they told the story. It felt like this stuff happened. I had to Google it to make sure it wasn't based on true events. But it wasn't; it was just two extremely creative brothers being talented at what they do.

David Dastmalchian is supremely talented and, at this point, has an art for picking out some intriguing but dysfunctional roles. This film had some scary parts, especially toward the end. It even had subtle things in it that just added to the overall eeriness of the film.

As a whole, this film was good and creepy. Shout out to Ingrid Torelli. She freaked me out when she was playing "Lilly" possessed. I give this film four mor fires 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
