Pil's Adventures

Pil's Adventures

Pil, a little vagabond girl, lives on the streets of the medieval city of Roc-en-Brume, along with her three tame weasels. She survives of food stolen from the castle of the sinister Regent Tristain. One day, to escape his guards, Pil disguises herself as a princess. Thus she embarks upon a mad, delirious adventure, together with Crobar, a big clumsy guard who thinks she's a noble, and Rigolin, a young crackpot jester. Pil is going to have to save Roland, rightful heir to the throne under the curse of a spell. This adventure will turn the entire kingdom upside down, and teach Pil that nobility can be found in all of us.

    I fell asleep
The title said it all. I fell asleep halfway through the movie.

*I only had a few laughs with the jokes of the weird sock-puppet, about the lords and all. They were quite funny or at least enjoyable, haha.

*Bad animation, very wonky walk-cycle, and it looks like it's a movie made in the early 2010s.

*Bad characters, they're dumb. Dialogues doesn't help. Why does the main character have that haircut ? It's not for my taste. And the prince.. He looks like an ugly grown-up baby, like a clone of Mark Zuckerberg, what the what ?! At least the evil-guy looks like an evil-guy.

*The main story is basic. Nothing bad with that, but nothing new either.

Sure, i'm not a kid, and the movie clearly is made for kids. But even if i was, i would still say that the movie was uninteresting and boring. I'd leave the TV room and play with my Legos.

Anyway, the movie isn't awful, but it's flat, boring and not really fun.
