    Really good.
Word vomit review: I review movies and shows without organizing my thoughts and knowing what I'm going to say other than whether I liked what I watched or not. That being said, this movie was very creative and offers a new light and view into possessions, found footage and what can be scary. Of course there are agnostic elements that work and are implemented in all horror movies; no matter the country, culture or topic. That being said, this Taiwanese based film offers Western viewers(like myself) a look into a not so common type of fear and theme. While we don't know for certain, it's probable that Asian has been home to the human species for thousands of years before they migrated out to Europe. I'm not a closed minded archeologist believe there is a lot we don't know and could even be wrong about when it comes to the history of our species but no I'm getting off topic and away from the point. The point is this movie gave me and intense fear of a very old and powerful evil. It actually felt like the film rubbed it off onto me. Similar to the type of scare Hereditary might give you but obviously this is more of a found footage style of movie.

If you're one of those people that can't watch movies with subtitles or the English voice over bothers you... grow up. I only feel comfortable saying that because I felt the exact same way for a long time. Once I gave movies a genuine chance and went in to them with an open mind, I realized I allowed my self THOUSANDS of more options of things to watch.

All in all: Great movie, unsettlingly scary, different.

In my house, this film was the one we chose to watch for Halloween, and I think it was the right choice.

Explaining myself better, seeing the trailer, the review and everything, you can already expect what this film is like. And yes, it's a movie that gives you a bad feeling from the beginning to the end. It has 2 or 3 scares, and everything else is suspense and bad vibes.

The fact that the film is filmed in the style of Paranormal Activity or Blair Witch is a good thing. It gets you into the scenes much easier, and makes you feel the real terror.

One bad thing I can say about this movie, is the story. It's quite difficult to understand, as it delves a lot into spiritual themes and it's difficult to follow the thread (although you follow it more or less). And also that in the final stretch of the film it became very heavy for me.

In short, probably the movie that has given me more bad feeling in my life and if you are thinking about what to see on Halloween, this is a great option (although there are better ones).
