ezkl-90563 - 19 May 2024 Keeping track throughout is almost impossible They edited it to be short bits of each person's story, and then they jump back and forth through multiple stories.
However; because they use actors for the young scenes, and the real people for the recent stuff, cutting back and forth makes it almost impossible to keep track of who is who - you'll find yourself constantly wondering, "Is the piece of story they're showing now, the plane crash person, or the drowned person, or the car crash person, or the ...".
It was so seriously frustrating that it became hard not to just tune it all out and hope it will be over soon.
Definitely not what you want in a movie.
Great idea, pulled off in the most annoying possible way.
Even something as simple as a putting the name of the person underneath, each time they switch stories, would have made it so much better; a name and a brief reminder of their story, would be even better.
zappnikk - 5 December 2023 Highly recommended but watch with an open mind. I thought this was an honest and informative movie about what happens when people die, but they are able to be resuscitated back to life. I plan to watch this movie again.
The movie includes scientific studies and firsthand accounts from people who have had a near death experience. The movie doesn't just include the good experiences where people "see the light." The movie also includes an interview from a young man who shared his experience of when he was convinced to commit suicide by a demon that he described as looking like a grandfather. The movie also includes an interview with a man who said he was an athiest and went straight into darkness when he died.
I appreciate that the movie presented the good and the bad, and the science that has been studying these experiences for decades.
