Imaginary

When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

    Entertaining but stupid
Ever watched a movie that you so badly wanted to be into but just couldn't? That was my experience with Imaginary. The film offered a phenomenal and legitimately creative storyline and somewhat likable characters. Imaginary offers a couple of creepy moments (for example, there was this therapy scene that almost scared me), but other than that, the movie fell flat with its horror, offering jumpscares that range from okay to flat-out stupid. The sad thing is, you could tell how hard they were trying to be scary! But sadly, this ends up as being around as horrifying as Five Nights at Freddy's. Speaking of FNaF, it felt like this movie was trying to to attract FNaF fans. I mean, the way Chauncey, the main antagonist of the film moves is VERY reminiscent of how Golden Freddy moves in the movie, not to mention he's a freaking brown bear and the movie's horror is built around jumpscares. Moving away from the horror, the movie has an extremely messy plot, and once you watch it... you'll see why. Moving to the positives, this movie has a phenomenal soundtrack and the acting is really good (even if the little girl is annoying, the kid who plays her is obviously trying her hardest). I'd also just like to say that "Nightmare Chauncey" actually looks sick! There are multiple twists near the end, one of which is actually really cool, that being a twist villain that is not too easy to see coming, but actually works really well! The other two just drag out the movie an extra 15 minutes. Overall, do I recommend this movie? No. But if you're at a party with friends and you need a movie to make fun of, this is a perfect choice!

    Bad bad and bad
Geez where do I start. Don't waste your money on this, even if they offer it free its still not worth it. It just turned out so silly it should have been listed under comedy. The acting from all the actors was so bad I think Imcould have done a much better job. They didnt even know how to be scared lol. Towards the end when everyone had bear eyes, I would like wow can it get any more stupid than this. Don't waste your time watching. Thos of us who watched it have wasted our time just so you don't regret it lol. Bad bad bad bad bad bad. The trailer was better. If you must watch anything pertaining to this movie just do the trailer only lol.
