    British culture
Wonderful movie about everyday people reaching an outstanding cultural achievement. By common people I mean some of the best actors in Britain. Soft spoken determination and slow moving scenes get you there. It's the English way. Nicely done.

There are two story lines, quite disjoint. Fortunately the second does not detract from the first. That's how good the actors are. So for those who admire British culture this is a small gem. It's not Trafalgar or the Battle of Britain, just something simple and genuine about the love of national identity by an original people that have a lot of culture. Enjoy.

Anything Ralph Fiennes is on is with it.
True story very well told. Ralph Fiennes is an excellent choice for the lead. All about an unusual find under a supposed burial mound on a privately owned farm. This all happens before Britain is enveloped into world war 2. Slow and comfortable pace. Not an action movie at all, just the drama of the dig for an unusual artifact. All the characters are ones you get to know and care about. Fun parts as well. Especially the young child's imagination which makes this fun for kids with a treasure finding heart or young archaeologists. Herat warming story and beautiful scenery as well. If you want a calm enjoyable and true story movie, this one fits the bill. 😊
