    Disappointing
Utterly embarrassing, if the dead really do turn over in their grave, Lucy and Desi are spinning over this undignified and inaccurate portrayal. My guess Lucy would be appalled at Nicole paltry attempt at her unlikeness let alone the silly romp on the couch at the beginning. Of course we know they were human and had sex like the rest of us but it certainly has no bearing on the story at hand. I could not engage with the characters, I only saw Javier and Nicole, the whole atmosphere was off, and since no one is alive that sat around that reading table 75 years ago, I'm call BS on all that ad libbing, cursing and hatred flying around the table...the movie is a farce and a big black eye to Lucy, when will some do a respectful homepage biography for Lucy...she deserves it, not this over hyped garbage.

Couldn't even get past 40 minutes
And I tried. It didn't feel like Lucy one bit, and it didn't give the 50s vibe at all. Kidman was absolutely atrocious for the part and there weren't any of the expressions which Lucy is famous for. Totally inaccurate and wouldn't recommend. I believe they picked all the wrong actors for the parts and made it too modern to truly depict what it was like in the 50s. I was very disappointed as I loved the series I Love Lucy. She was a true inspiration of her time and although no one can probably come close, I think this film went the opposite direction with the looks, lifestyle, personalities, and dialogue.
