Complete departure from what made the other movies successful
Utter tripe. There's at least another one or two movies required to close out the Last Knight storyline and they come up with this complete garbage? The characters are extremely poorly cast, weak performing and feel totally forced. This is the kind of stuff turning more and more people away from Hollywood. Even the Transformer characters didn't feel like they should either. And what's with introducing a completely unnecessary "prequel" into the Transformers universe. This movie feels like "padding" and it has definitely ruled out cinema viewing for the next one. I'll wait for streaming and maybe take a look at it then. Do better! - fgdiioia - 10 May 2024
Wasted potential
There was so much hype in seeing the Maximals in a movie, but unfortunately it came up short. Air Razor never transforms, despite being voiced by Michelle Yoh. Rhinox and Cheetor have no speaking lines, plus they barely get any screentime as robots. Wheeljack's design is also insulting. Not to mention Pete Davidson is overal just annoying.
However, this film has Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, a real-life transformer, voicing one of the Decepticons so that's pretty exciting. Plus Ron Perlman is great in just about anything he does so no complaints there.
All in all, there was so much wasted potential.
