    It easily held my interest
I don't feel too much need to recite the story, as so many do to reach the character requirements for getting a review posted. I'll touch on a few things. In my opinion, Al Pacino is much less over the top than on other roles where he is considered to have done so. Meadow Williams is beautiful to my eyes and does her part well to go from being completely unlikable and then later a person we can feel sympathy for. So I think some dimensionality. Demonstrated in her acting, and she wasn't hard to look at. It looks to me like the case ended being properly settled. That said, deal making mentioned but left unexplored was of interest to me, though not at all the point of the film. "I had to make it look good"..... "Of course I made a deal"...

So what deals were made? In those days wi.....th the world paying attention, the courts didn't want to appear tyrannical, and nor would the legislative or executive branch.... At least in those days, many now appear to want out government to act that way.

Anyway, ends justify the means deal making I'm sure has forever taken place, but it's still very unsettling. My takeaway.

Was the casting director able to get another job after this debacle?
It's no wonder you've never heard of Meadow Williams before. That's because she's a terrible actress. No emotion, stiff, awful singing voice (why didn't they dub her singing scenes?), and did they really think her crying scene was good enough for the final cut? So much promise for an interesting story but ruined by Meadow's awful acting.
