don't wast your time
This movie was terrible. I thought this movie would be good Since Netflix made it look good, So I watched it. Let me tell you this do not waste your time. This movie is basically for the teenage girls that love the romance with teachers and students, but also for the teenage boys who love Jenna Ortega. This movie is trying way too hard. It needs to be more natural like Lolita if they want that type of movie. This movie looks like it was filmed on an iPhone not on a really great set. I am not a fan of the actors. Really this movie was also hyped up on TikTok way too much, so please don't watch the movie unless you wanna waste an hour and a half. - batemandiane - 11 June 2024
My thoughts of why I rate this a 10/10
I rate this movie a 10/10 because it has its laughs in the movie, interesting to see Jenna in an age gap film, Jenna Ortega goes to dark mode after she's been hated on by Mr. Miller aka Martin Freeman, seeing how the teacher and a student get along with eachother, and that it kinda tricks us where we don't know if the student and the teacher actually falled in love, like was it really just Cairo's imagination from her book or not? I also like that in this movie and the TV show of Wednesday kinda felt like the same attitude by Jenna Ortega. This is also like the movies wild things but different.
