    Terrible
This is a pathetic movie with nothing much to see. Basically it is a romp through loads of Indian action movies. The story is very weak and it doesn't even get interesting. I was surprised that the main actor had come this low and he has done some good stuff. I guess the acting jobs were running short and he took this crazy role. I am not sure where the storyline came from but it was extremely weak and a waste of time.

I wouldn't waste your time watching this garbage and look for other areas to see Indian action films that are much better. Again the main actor has made some incredible movies and look for them.

Solid and highly entertaining cocktail of action and drama - shaken, not stirred
Monkey Man delivers action and drama both, with a simple, sometimes messy but interesting tale of redemption and revenge set in an exotic location. The real gold however is to be found in the fighting sequences, which are brutal and sublimely choreographed. Dev Patel's performance is fully on point, and he shows his chops as a director with this movie. I'm looking forward to his next endeavor.

Now, about the shaky camera that seems to bother so many viewers. Personally I thought it was rather effective rather than annoying, and added to the sense of chaos during the action sequences. Maybe this is because I did not see the movie in the theater, but at home on TV. Not at all the same experience in watching, and perhaps there's a good lesson there for Dev Patel. But remember that this production was going to go straight to streaming; only much later into the production did they decide on a theatrical release, otherwise they might have decided on a different way of filming this.
