    A funny and witty comedic that have something to say.
    Feels like one of those old sci-fi mystery films from the 80s or 90s. I mean one the alternative poster for this parody The Goonies poster, so it knows what it inspiration, and somehow they do their own thing with it with this film taking a modern and meta take on this with it also providing nice social commentary on how people from low income areas can be taken advantage like being asked to move out or cleaning out homeless shelters or being denied basic stuff like going to public showers or food since they might not have food stamps all of this for middle/upper middle class people benefits. It is like if Get Out was played for laughs instead of scared. Highly recommend watching.

    Had Potential!
    This is a Netflix Original film which has a lot of great ideas and a lot of potential, but it had some flaws that stopped it being above good for me.

    Themes and ideological commentary is where this film shines! It had so many unique elements that critiqued how predominantly Black areas are treated by the American government. It does take a little while to fully show off these elements within the narrative though. Furthermore, John Boyega does a great job having to portray multiple different characters.

    One of major issues was the film's lighting. At points, I was struggling to distinguish what was going on. The sombre lighting style the film was going for could have been achieved whilst also allowing for an audience to see what is going on. However, the sections in the underground location had some really effective visuals and lighting.

    I would recommend checking this out, but I suggest looking for a way to combat the film's lighting problem!
